The
New Paradigm:
(model, standard, pattern, Archetype)
The
new paradigm is about
creating:
Much of what is commonly accepted as
real has been handed down to us,
unchanged, from
prior generations.
When we closely examine our beliefs,
we find that many of them do not
match what the presently available
evidence tells us about life, about
the universe, about who and what we
are. We'll examine some of the
more common and the more damaging
assumptions, and then we'll use our
new base of information as the
foundation upon which to build our
personal lives anew.
Remember now, we are not fixing,
correcting or changing you, or me or
anything else. The new
paradigm is about creating, and it
starts with us.
Of
course, it starts with
us!
The
goal is, after all about us; about
"What's in it for
me? But we'll see
ourselves and our position in first
place in a new light. We'll go
into details about that later.
For now, I'll just give you a hint
about what that will look
like: "Everybody Is in
First Place."
Below
are some of the new perspectives.
Many of them you already know about
because they are actually very
old. They've
simply been ignored by those
controlling society. Again, I'll
give you a hint. This
one can be found in the ancient
Christian text called the
Bible: "In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was
God." Take a moment to
reflect on that
statement. If it's true,
what does it mean to you?
Some
of the ideas presented here will be
new, so new that they will seem to
be absolutely
impossible. Of
course they're impossible, just like
the Earth is round, or sending
a man to the moon, or a human being
running a mile in four minutes, or
microorganisms causing diseases.
We'll also examine the sources of
change in more detail when we talk
about "the lunatic
fringe."
OK,
ready or not, here they are.
u
Subatomic physics tells us that there is
no such thing as physical
matter. Everything is
made up of energy.
u
The
overwhelming evidence points
directly to the conclusion that we
are each a non-physical, eternal divine being, a
part of that source of everything we
commonly call God.
u
That
source of everything we commonly
call God is unknown and
unknowable. Everything
we think we know about God is merely
a an unprovable belief.
That's not to discount or ignore our
connections to Source, but rather to
recreate them. As part
of our program, we'll give you a
clear distinction between religion
and spirituality.
u
Everything
is one. The perceived
separation between you and nature is
an illusion --- between
you and your fellow humans is an
illusion --- between you
and God is an illusion.
Everything is a part of a single,
unified whole.
u
The
world we see out there that we think
of as static and immutable and to
which we have thought of ourselves
as powerless victims is an
illusion. Reality and
the external world are products of
our internal creations, individually
and collectively.
u
Only
five percent of the known universe is observable with
present technology.
Ninety-five percent is made up of
what is referred to as "dark
energy" and "dark
matter."
(Considering the vastness and the
complexity of the five percent we
can perceive, what do you suppose is
in that other ninety five percent?)
u
The
observer affects the observed
because the observer is part of that
which is being observed.
This concept is as old as the
teachings of the ancient philosopher,
Hermes Trismegistus and as new and scientific as the
Heisenberg principle --"The
act of observing alters the reality
being observed."
u
We
each create our personal
reality by our thoughts, beliefs,
attitudes, words, actions, and
emotions. The Universal Laws
of Thought, Allowing, and
Intentional Creation are very
real.
.
You
don't have to believe any of
this to participate with
us. Simply suspend
judgment until you've examined the
evidence.
So
where does all that leave
us?
Well,
to start with, "There
are no victims at the inn of
success." Either
collectively or individually, we've
created everything we are presently
experiencing, including our physical
bodies.
Another
tool is to accept
all and everything and everyone
exactly as is. Why?
Because we are not changing, fixing
or fighting anything. We are
creating. Where we each
find ourselves, at the moment,
is merely our starting
point.
Know
the rules of the game you're
playing:
Physical
Earthly actions have predictable
results. The rules, like
the law of gravity, apply equally to
everyone at all times. Success
in life requires knowing and
intentionally applying the rules.
Our internal, non-physical creation process also has
predictable rules. Here
too, success in life requires
knowing and intentionally applying the rules.
Another tool
we'll use is to examine what we are
presently doing and imagine what the
result will be if we continue our
present behavior patterns.
The
Wagon Train Analogy:
Let's
look at our lives here on Space Ship
Earth
using a wagon train
analogy. With one major exception, the following statements
apply to both.
We are all
travelers. We all going
to the same destination.
We are each an individualized part of the
whole. Much
in our future is unknown and
unknowable. There are
many blessings and many dangers ahead
of us. Along the
journey, all of us will
survive together or we will die together.
On
the other hand, everything
we need is available.
Our job is to find it or create it,
and, at the same time, be
certain that all actions are for the
long-term highest good of everyone
and everything.
Our actions toward reaching
our goals, must also be infinitely
sustainable, or we must choose a
different path.
The
major difference is that the wagon
train journey is short term and soon
ends. Life on Earth is a
long-term journey, and the
overwhelming circumstantial
evidence supports the belief that we
each come back here numerous
times.
Now with this foundation in mind, you are
again at choice.
