Our Collective Voices

Social transformation:    Major social, political, economic and environmental changes are underway right now.   What is at stake is the outcome of these changes.   We have two choices.   We can sit back and let others determine the outcome or we can figure out how to get our voices heard.      

Our Collective Voices:    One voice alone may speak loud and clear and be right on track, but who is listening?    Your voice alone is too small to be heard.    My  voice alone is too small to be heard.   A single voice can easily be ignored, but a harmonious chorus, a collection of voices focused on a common goal, will echo throughout any hall we sing in.   

Alone, we are whistling to the wind, but together we can bring the individual issues we are passionate about into the forefront -- into the mainstream media --  into the halls of our legislators.   

About the Point of Focus:    We simply need to find a common focal point -- a point on which we (as team members) can all agree to direct our collective energies.   That point of focus also needs to be:

 l    Something that others (even those who don't care about our cause)  will still be passionate about.  

 l    An issue about which  many people  have a vested interest in the outcome.   

 l    A controversial issue.   

 l    Something that the main stream media and our elected representatives can't ignore.

What Is that Point of Focus:    The ultra-conservative Christians have given us the perfect vehicle.   They have given us the focal point for positive, constructive, social transformation.    They have taken an antiquated, unprovable religious fairytale (God's Conception Magic Act)°  and made it a foundation upon which they are proposing legislation that would force everyone else to practice their religion.    Not only does the forced motherhood issue have all  the requirements mentioned above, it's clearly a religious freedom issue.°°   The next section below will tell you more about what the forced motherhood peddlers actually do and why women's reproductive rights is our point of focus.

We are Speaking Up BECAUSE: 

l    The fundamentalist Christian attack on women's reproductive  rights is far more than just an abortion rights issue.    To see the truth about the forced motherhood peddlers, you have but to examine:    What they actually do°°   /   What they ignore in their own Bible°°   /  How  they deceive others with lies of omission°°   /   Their unethical-immoral behavior,°°  /  Why they do it,°°  /   The techniques they use,°°  / The company they keep,°°  /  the inevitable Consequences of their actions,°° /   and   The unprovable fairytale°° that their entire anti-choice war is based on.   

l    The anti-abortionists are, at this time, winning the forced motherhood war;

l    The women’s movement has, with rare exception, and by intent or by default, chosen not to confront the anti-abortionists’ religious fantasies;

l    Because we have a viable, effective and vitally needed game plan that will, when properly implemented, derail and overturn the political steamroller of the ultra-conservative, fundamentalist Christians, and  insure women's reproductive rights.

Who and What Are We? What Are We?

 We are a  group of men and women dedicated to a completely new vision.   Our vision and our intention is to expose the forced motherhood fallacies and fantasies.  Our intention is to pull the false, self-righteous foundation out from under the anti-abortion movement and in so doing, put an end to the anti-abortion war and also benefit several other causes.  

Forced Motherhood Is a Freedom of Religion  Issue

Why Is Forced Motherhood a Religious Freedom Issue?

Because:
           We don’t know  What Life Is,^°
              We don’t know   What a Human Being Actually Is, ^°***    
                  We don’t know  When an Independent Human Life Begins,^°
                      And we have no way to find out.

When you examine the war between those peddling forced motherhood and those supporting women's reproductive rights, it soon becomes obvious that this war is really about religious freedom.   Why do we say that?   

Because the entire forced-motherhood war is based upon belief in an ancient, un-probable, religious fairytale about God stepping in every time a human egg and sperm unite and by an instantaneous, supernatural, transcendental, conception magic act, creating a brand new human being.  According to this fairytale, the new being is the physical body, itself.^***    At death, God steps in again and, this time, He transforms the physical body into an undefined something else that goes to heaven or hell forever.   

How Human Societies Change 

The Constant Clash of Opposites:   One one hand, there is the immutable universal law that says change is the only thing that stays the same -- that the status quo is doomed -- that what isn't growing and evolving is dying and decaying.   On the other side, there is the concept of inertia which says that an object will stay stationary until some force comes along to move it.   

In human terms, this means that at one end of the spectrum you'll find those who accept change, and at the opposite end, you'll find those who resist and fight change.  When you look at the definition of the word "conservative," you'll find that it means:  " to preserve that which is -- to preserve established traditions and behavior patterns."   If you study history, you'll notice that religious leaders have consistently been at the forefront of those resisting change.

The Source of Change:   When you examine past changes in our society, you'll notice that almost every major change on the planet has come out of what is commonly thought of as the "lunatic fringe."   It came by way of a person who was, at one point in his or her creative process,  considered by most of his/her fellow humans as an eccentric fool, a lunatic, or a trouble maker.   The future of humanity is still “out there” in that lunatic fringe.   If you look among the malcontents, the eccentrics, lunatics and the quasi-criminals, you’ll also find the visionaries, the dreamers, and the possibility thinkers.    You’ll find the future of humanity.  It's always been that way; it's that way now; and there is no evidence  that it's about to change.

Your Job:  If you choose to accept our invitation, your job is to acknowledge that change is inevitable and then decide in which direction do you want the changes in your life to move.   As you examine our program, you'll see these concepts expressed in much more detail.

Our Pluralistic Society:

Our Forefathers set up our nation to be a pluralistic society.   They set up a very delicate balance between church and state.   In essence, this means that all views, opinions, religions, lifestyles, etc. are to be honored.   For years, that worked fine.

But now, two seemingly opposite groups have joined forces to change that, to take away your religious rights, your political freedom and your ability to control your own government.   On one side of this political marriage, there are the leaders of the  ultra-conservative end of fundamentalist Christianity who are attempting to create a Christian theocracy in America.   On the other side, there are the Christian-talking but atheist-acting multimillionaires who own the structures that control the United States Government.   Who would have dreamed that atheists and conservative Christians would join forces?°   

Your Job:  If you choose to accept our invitation, your job is to examine your own belief system and ask yourself,  "Am I willing to honor others and allow them  freedom of religion, freedom to be as they are, freedom to do as they do.   (Obviously this does not include the right to violate others in person or in property.)  As you examine our program, you'll see these concepts expressed in much more detail.

Modus Operandi:

Most of us function primarily  in one of two modes.   We may, at times, shift to the opposite pole, but for the most part, we either work together in unity and harmony or against each other in duality and conflict.    

Duality and Conflict:  In the duality mode, it's us against them.   Football is a good example of this.  It's primarily about fighting, pushing, shoving, knocking the other side down, claiming territory, and scoring points.   If an opponent is injured, that's good, because then he's out of the game, and this increases the other side's chance of winning.  It's a zero sum game.   In order for one side to win, the other side must lose.   

Unity and Harmony:  In the unity mode it's us with them.   An orchestra is a good example of this.   Everyone is working in complete harmony toward a common goal.   It's about cooperation, harmony, synchronized rhythm, and mutual support.   Everybody adds to the product produced.   The higher and stronger the quality of our input, the grander the overall result.   The product is beautiful music, a blessing for all to hear.   The same product can be given to ten people or ten million, and it is not diminished in the slightest by sharing.  It's an infinity sum game.  The more you share the bigger the product.   Everybody wins.

Your Job:  Obviously, if you choose to accept our invitation, we ask you to play with us in the unity mode where everybody wins.   That's not to discount yourself.   You're still number one.   The secret is that everybody else is also a number one.   (And how many number one's are there?   As many as work together in harmony toward the common goal.)   

Understanding the Fundamentals

Rules of thought and behavior apply to everything we do, whether it's as simple as picking up a pencil or as complex as running a country.   In this  treatise, we'll refer to this concept as "Rules of the Game."  

In order to win at our game, or at any game, we need to understand all the rules.   We need to understand the basic rules of intentionally creating, and we need to understand the specific rules of the specific game we are focused on.   Here are two of the major, fundamental keys for winning at anything:   understand    The Three Universal Laws°    and understand   How to Create a Winning Context?°    We also need to know how our chosen  game is played.   

Your Job:  If you choose to accept our invitation, your job is to have or create a clear understanding of the fundamental rules of intentional creating.   

Understanding Overall Game Strategy 

Again, the principles expressed in this section apply to all games.   Here they are in the traditional "us-against-them" format:

Us Against Them:   The "us-against-them" tactics have six core rules:    1)   Applying only a defensive strategy does not solve problems.  2)   Doing more of the same or doing  the same thing harder does not solve problems, either.  3)    The best defense is a good offense.   4)  An aggressive attack at the core of the opposition is required.   5)  Study and clearly understand the nature of both the conflict and the opposition.   6) The best and fastest way to win is to find and attack the opposition's weakest point.   

Us With Them:   Now let's look at the "us with them" format:   We are not attacking or intentionally harming anybody in any way.    Our weapon is simply to speak the truth into the face of the lie.   Our program is speak the truth and to do so  in an entertainment format.   We aggressively challenge the fairytale peddlers to prove their stories.   We speak countermanding stories loudly and frequently and become better at story telling  than they are.   The difference is that there stories are based upon unprovable fairytales while our stories reflect what the latest evidence tells us is the most probable expression of reality.   

We are not fighting to control anybody or to force our beliefs onto anybody.  But rather to remain in a joyful, playful context as we apply the Universal Law of Allowing° to those who choose to oppose us.   We simply expose the intentional deceptions, the half truths, the lies of omission and the hidden agendas of those who are bent on increasing their wealth, power and control at everyone else's expense.   In so doing, we apply the underlying essence of all six of the "us-against-them" tactics.   And we accomplish our goal.
