Actually Vote For?
1) They Voted to Destroy the
Middle Class:

They voted for more
tax cuts for the wealthy.
*
They voted to
send your job to India or China so that
somebody with more money than he can
spend in thirty lifetimes could make a
few dollars more.
*
They voted for the highest gasoline prices
in U.S. history.
*
They voted to cut social services and to
close desperately needed health
clinics.
*
They voted for the assets in thousands of American corporate retirement
accounts to be stolen by the government- endorsed, Enron-style
accounting.
*
They voted restrict bankruptcy proceedings for the
middle class while leaving huge loopholes for the
wealthy.
* They voted for more poverty which brings with
it more crime, more gang violence, and
the call for more police and more restrictions on individual freedom.
* They
voted to transfer millions of your tax
dollars into the coffers of
ultra-conservative Christian
organizations.
* They
voted exactly as their leaders told
them to vote.
*
They voted exactly as
their religious leaders told them to vote.°

2) They Voted for Crime,
Misery, and Poverty:
* They voted
to
continue allowing 40,000, innocent children to
starve to death each day° or die of
curable diseases.
*
They voted for
the legal sale of assault
weapons .
*
They voted to cut benefits for service
men and women fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.
*
They voted to continue an Unrealistic Anti-drug Policy -- a
policy that is responsible for 7o% of all crime in the
U.S. -- a policy that supports a multi-billion dollar police and prison
industry. They Voted to keep up the price of illegal
drugs outrageously high so that the people with the lowest ethical
standards (the drug peddlers) are also the wealthiest people on the
planet.

3) They Voted for
still More Government-sanctioned
Sleaze, Graft and Corruption:

They voted for government agents to be able to do anything
they want to do and then hide behind government imposed secrecy. (This
includes the ability to falsify election results.)
* They voted
for the wildest, most irresponsible government spending spree in all of
human history. They voted for a man who has his head in
economic Disneyland.
* They voted
for the greatest financial deficit in the entire history of the
American Republic.

They voted for George Bush and then they
let him count
the votes°
using secret computer programs that were under the control of
ultra-conservative, rightwing multi-millionaires.
*
You voted for the team that spent $18,000,000 investigating Bill Clinton's sex
life in an attempt to destroy his
presidency.
*
You voted for a whole raft of sleazy mudslingers. Karl
Rove stands out as a shining example of
immoral, mind-bending manipulation°
Rove is the master mind behind
"Resident" Bush and the
sleaziest, dirtiest, foulest smelling,
campaigning in all of American political
history.

They voted exactly as
their religious leaders told them to vote.°

4) They
voted for an increase in Environmental Destruction:
*
They voted for the last three percent of our virgin forests to
be cut down.
*
They voted for agents of the coal, oil and gas industry
to pretend to be safeguarding your
environment.
*
They voted to destroy forever, dozens of
pristine natural environments that are
absolutely irreplaceable.
*
They voted for still more industrial, oil-drilling
and mining-related pollution,
including more contaminated waterways and
contaminated drinking
water.
*
They voted to save the coal burning electricity
producers from having to spend the one
percent of their gross revenues
that it would cost for them to stop
dumping tons of mercury and other
poisons into the atmosphere --
mercury which then rains down onto and
into everything-- lakes rivers,
animals, fish, and eventually into
humans.
*
They voted
to poison their own children's and
grandchildren's drinking water with additional even
more toxic levels of mercury.
Mercury is very damaging to the brains
of fetuses and young children.
* They voted for the world
to be gutted
of its natural resources and turned into a garbage dump.
* They voted for the
birth of Still More Humans in an already overcrowded world.
* They voted for the man with the most dismal environmental record of any president
in modern history -- a man who ignores and/or refutes respected and
verified scientific findings that stand between his multi-millionaire friends
and more profits .
*
They voted
to ignore every single one
of the dozens of now undisputable signs of
global warming.
* They voted
to increase the human birth rate. They voted for human
overpopulation which is causing global environmental disasters of proportions not
seen since the demise of the dinosaurs. In the face of this already-in-process disaster, they
voted for the anti-abortion
promoters who are denying the existence of a population problem and who
are proposing the birth of still more
people.
* They
voted to increase the species
extinction rate on Earth above the
estimated present level of one
per hour - - that is 24 extinctions each and every day, 168 extinctions per week,
720
extinctions pre month, and
8,760 extinctions per year. That’s
an extinction rate equaled only by the demise of the dinosaurs.
And, as you well know, EXTINCTION IS
FOREVER!)

You voted to increase the political power and influence of
ultra-conservative Christians who believe
that wars, chaos, and calamities are good things
because they will bring The
Rapture°
that much sooner.

They voted exactly as
their religious leaders told them to vote.°

5) They Voted for
the Illusion of Safety at
the Expense of Liberty:

They voted
for John
Ashcroft, Carl Rove, Tom DeLay, and Dick
"the vice" Cheney .
*
They voted for
the so-called "Patriot
Act" which gives broad sweeping
powers to government
agents.
*
They voted exactly as
their religious leaders told them to vote.°

6) They Voted for More
Benefits for Multi-millionaires:
*
They voted for our congressmen and senators to be
bought, owned and controlled by big money interests.
*
They voted for
no billionaire to ever be left
behind.
*
They voted for the godless,
self-centered multi-millionaires who,
behind the scenes, own the structures
that control the Republican
Party. They voted to give
more power and money to the men who control:
the
international oil cartels,
the banking industry,
the tobacco peddlers,
the insurance industry,
the legal drug peddlers,
the illegal drug
peddlers,°
the media cartels,
the pharmaceutical industry, and
the military hardware industries.
They voted exactly as these
men wanted them to vote.° Can you find even one of these people who,
in his heart cares about "moral
values?"

They voted exactly as
their religious leaders told them to vote.°

They Voted for War and
Violence As the Only Way to Solve Problems:
* They voted for
$200, 000,000,000 (two-hundred billion dollars) of our tax dollars spent
making war in a foreign country.
*
They voted for still
another 1,000 Americans to die in Iraq.
*
They voted to keep our military
overextended and thus make our country very vulnerable to a major
attack from a foreign nation.
*
They voted for
installing the non-functional star wars nuclear defense system.
*
They voted
for the son of former President George Bush Sr. In 1991,
George Sr. had U.S. forces thirty four kilometers (about twenty-one
miles) for Saddam Hussein's
palace. To the delight of those
who sell military hardware, George Sr. stopped their advance and allowed Hussein to remain in
power.
Had daddy done his job, the present war in Iraq would
never have happened. Hundreds of thousands of lives would
have been spared. Literally
Billions of your tax dollars would not have
gone to the military industrial
complex.
Imagine
where we would be today if that $200,000,000,000 had been spent on research to
find and alternate energy source that was neither fossil fuel or nuclear.

for Making Religious Fairytales the Laws of the Land:

motherhood.

not only in the U.S., but all over the world, including places where many desperately
impoverished women will have no choice but to abandon their newly-born children and
allow them to starve to death or be eaten alive by a stray dog or a wild animal.
(How can promoting such cruel and mindless behavior be called
"pro-life?")

They voted to use government laws which
use intimidation, violence or
the threat of violence to force everybody to live by a religious fairytale.°

They voted for censorship.°
*
They voted for the global
gag rule°
which is about as far as one can get from sanity
and freedom of speech.

They voted
for hypocrisy.°
*
They voted
for anti-gay bigotry.°
*
You voted to destroy
the
delicate balance between church and state set
up by our Founding Fathers.°

They voted for the
creation of a Christian
theocracy in America°

They voted
for the marriage of Church and Sate. The
