1)
To offer a previously ignored, enlightened, and open-minded vision for
Christianity and to do so for both
the believers and for those who have
left the faith due to all the
harmful, judgmental and negative
actions that have been and are being
done under the disguise of piety.
2)
To shine the light of truth into a
pit of hypocrisy;
3)
To show how lies of omission
are creating false beliefs and
precipitating destructive
behavior;
4)
To expose those who use subtle but
intentional deception.
5)
To expose the devastating, negative
consequences of combining
church
and state.

Attack
Versus Expose:
One could
get the impression that The
Reasonables' New-Vision Project
is
focused on doing battle with the
right-wing, Christian, religious extremists.
That is absolutely not the case!
The
Universal Law
of Allowing°
and
the Universal
Law
of Intentional
Creation° clearly
teach that
fighting something
is counterproductive. The laws, in essence, says, "To
fight something is to feed it;
to give it additional power of
manifestation, and to create more of it in
one's reality."
These
two Universal Laws
also tell us that the only way to eliminate
something from one's reality is to focus on and create something
else.
That is exactly where The
Reasonable New-Vision Project is
focused.
The
project also follows The Universal Law of Allowing whereby
Christian religious extremists are simply allowed to be and do as they will. That's
not to say the project's intention is to stand by idly and do nothing while these people
overwhelm
everyone's God-granted and
Constitutionally protected rights. That's not to say the
project's intention is to stand by idly and do nothing while they fulfill their dysfunctional
dream°
of creating a Christian
theocracy in America.°
The
project's goal is to shine the light of truth onto any illusion we
find -- onto
lies of omission,°
onto
gross
hypocrisy,°
and onto the
devastating and disastrous consequences°
of intentionally deceiving millions
of people who, in good faith, trust
their leaders. Our
goal is to allow you and
everybody else the opportunity to make informed decisions based on a
more inclusive picture of reality
than most people now
see. From that more
informed position, you can then
decide whether to
support
right-wing, Christian, religious
extremists or to chase them out of the halls of our
legislators.
Initiating
an Attack Versus a Self Defense
Response:
In
spite of the above explanation, some
will still think we are attacking
the right-wing, Christian, religious
extremists. By
definition, an attack is to intend
damage, destruction, death, and/or
defeat of someone on something of
which one disapproves.
We invite them to take their
religious beliefs back to church, or
on television and preach to anybody
that will listen to
them. In that context,
they are free to preach anything
they choose to anybody who will
listen. But,
what we will not ignore is any
attempt on the part of any religious
zealots to force their religious
beliefs onto everybody by using
government laws, government property
and/or government money.
(See the page titled: Church
and State -- How Do They Relate?°)
And
as you may or may not yet be aware
of: In
any conflict, the person or group with the lowest ethical standards sets the level at
which the conflict is played out. When confronted by a those
who have low or no ethical or
moral boundaries, those who are not
sewer dwellers have to decide how to
respond to the opposition. For a detailed discussion regarding the
standards of conduct for both sides in a conflict, please see the page titled:
Hypocrisy.°
Readers are also invited to
read the section titled:
A
Truth Challenge.°
In defending everybody's freedom,
our behavior may indeed, appear the
be an attack.
And
those who still think the
right-wing, Christian, religious
extremists are being unduly picked
on, please check the following web
pages. Check out:
What they actually do° / What they ignore in their own
Bible° /
How they deceive others with lies of omission°
/ Their unethical-immoral behavior,°
/ Why they do it,° / The techniques they use,° / The company they keep,° / the inevitable Consequences of their actions,° / The Rapture° / and
The unprovable fairytale° that their entire forced motherhood war is
based on.

A
New Vision for Christianity:
The
project offers readers a perspective on life,
on creation, on God, and on human behavior based upon three main
factors: 1) the latest
scientific evidence about the nature
of reality and human
life, 2) the commonly
accepted theories about life offered
over the centuries by the world's
most renowned philosophers, and
3) the previously ignored teachings
of Jesus and the Christian Bible.
(i.e. Christianity without the dogma and the fairytales.)
One
of the techniques used as part of
this project is to combine head and heart. To
combining
head and heart means not only to be
kind, loving, and compassionate, but also
to bring logic and reason to
religion -- to bring in one's active
thinking mind and replace the
all-to-common mindless
obedience to authority -- to ask
tough questions -- and to
demand answers that are more
believable than the present level of
believability, which in some cases
such as God's
Conception Magic Act°
and "The Rapture"
°
are on the same level of
believability as the stories about
the tooth fairy and the Easter
Bunny.
The
project
express and to demonstrate that, in addition to the
take-them-on faith-only religious beliefs presently being
taught to their followers by leaders
of right-wing, extremists
Christianity, there are some
alternative, logical and well-supported, evidence-based theories about reality, about God,
about the teachings of Jesus, and about birth, life, and death that are, for the
most part, simply being ignored.
The
project offers a combination of the oldest beliefs and the latest evidence
available and offers some ideas that represent what the evidence tells
us is most probably the truth about reality. Nothing
that the project offers is carved in
stone. Everything is held as: "This is what the
presently available evidence tells us is most likely the truth about some of
life's most mysterious questions" -- questions such
as What is
life? What am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here?
Where am I going when my body dies? et cetera.
