Jesus was the ultimate rebel, the quintessential human being, the role model for the rest of us.   According to the Christian Bible, he hung out with people who were considered to be the undesirables.    He was a people person.  He had charisma elevated to the n^th degree.   He was often seen at parties where drinking wine was the norm.   In addition to his male associates, He hung out with numerous women.   Women supported his ministry.   He was the ultimate role model for how to be a human being.   

His message was Love --  Love God, Love your neighbor, and Love yourself with equal intensity, for all three are one and the same thing.     (See the Biblical quotes below.)  He was the prototypical heart and soul of compassion, forgiveness, and mercy.   He never asked God for anything, he merely said thank you, knowing that because of his faith, anything was possible.   He taught that first cause of anything and everything physical was in the invisible world of spirit.   Jesus was  a fellow human being and a master teacher who came to show the way.

Creating A Golden Idol:    Those who came after Jesus, turned Him into a golden idol.   They set him up on a pedestal -- to be worshipped from afar  -- and to be begged to for favors.   They turned some of the teachings of this great master into a religion based upon the false teaching that humans were inherently evil and that God and man and nature were distinct and separate from each other.   

Why?    The evidence tells us that the primary motivation of the Church leaders was power, money, and political control.   Some of the most critical  aspects of Jesus' teachings, were simply ignored.   (See the Biblical quotes below.)   In sharp contrast to the way Jesus treated women, the Church treated women as mere property with no power, zero say about anything , and no respect.   

Separation Consciousness:    This destructive perspective of Jesus was part of their separation consciousness  --  Jesus and God are out there somewhere, and you, as a physical body,°  are a worthless slime ball that can only be saved from eternal damnation and the pit of fire and pain by joining our church.   The self-esteem of the people was intentionally destroyed and replaced by dependency upon the church.   Biblical reference to God within, to personal power, to personal access to God were simply ignored.   Suffering and self-deprivation were the official pathways to God.   

Considering the substantial evidence regarding the despicable behavior and the ego-centric mindsets those running the early Roman Catholic Church . . . Considering  the amount of material and evidence that was know to be destroyed,  (Gnostic Gospels, Library at Alexandria, etc.)   it's anybody's guess what the real truth is about Jesus and His years on Earth.   

The Marriage of Church and State:    One of the major turning points in Christianity occurred in 313 AD when Roman Emperor, Constantine made Catholicism the official state religion.   Although some scholars say he did so out of belief in the religion, a much more likely reason is that his action was politically motivated, and was a futile attempt to save the failing Roman Empire.   As in every other instance of combining church and state, this union proved to be a  disaster.   His action  ushered in what is now referred to as "The Dark Ages," which lasted about twelve hundred years -- until Martin Luther triggered "The Reformation" in 1517.  

Ignore Deny Ignore, Ignore Some More:    Church leaders ignored the evidence that tells us that, regardless of culture, religion, gender, age, etc,  all humans share a common longing for that invisible something we call God.   They ignored the evidence that tells us that Catholics, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Christian Fundamentalists, and members of indigenous religion all around the globe, all act upon the same impulses --  that all human beings seek the underlying truth about who and what we are.    The Roman Catholic Church soon claimed exclusive access to God and exclusive access to heaven.  All other religions were declared to be heathen practices.    They have even declared their leader to be infallible in matters of the church.

Martin Luther Rained on Their Parade:   The people were told that Christian Church was their ticket, their one and only ticket  to heaven --  to eternal salvation.   The leaders preached, "You can't find God without our Church."    In 1517 when Martin Luther° came along and exposed their lie. (See the Biblical passages below.)   Luther triggered a revolution and social transformation that ended the churches strangle hold on the masses.   

And what did church leaders do in the face of this major revolt against their tyrannical power?  They let the furry die down and then went back to business as usual.   The leaders were soon, once again preaching, "You can't find God without our Church."   "We have exclusive access to God."   They even went on to declare their leader to be infallible.   They're still selling that same story today, including the infallibility fairytale.    They continue to deny or ignore many of the teaching of Jesus and many Biblical passages in favor of maintaining their political power and control.

"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues [houses of worship] and in the corners of the streets, [and on television] that they may be seen of men.   Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.   But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."

Instead of the Literal --   
"I,  Jesus, as God incarnate,  am the truth, the way and the light.   Bow down and worship me.   Beg me for favors.   Sacrifice and suffer for me as I suffered for you."  Choose up sides and fight over who's beliefs (about the unknown and unknowable source we call God) are right.   

Consider this Possibility:  
"The lessons I teach you are the Truth, the Way and the Light.   The Truths I teach you are your pathway to learn to do the things you see me do.    Anything I can do, you can do and more.  The energies you call demons within you are not demons at all;  they are simply false beliefs about reality.   Do not kneel and worship me from afar, but rather, stand and  walk beside me.    I come to you as a fellow human being and as a fellow God-being.    Both you and I are human and divine beings at the same time.    I understand that, and I'm here to teach you about who you are, to teach you that you can do as you see me do.  

I shall even demonstrate for you that death as you know it is an illusion.   You are not your physical bodies.  You, like me, are God-beings temporarily living in physical bodies.

 Walk with me and with my teachings along the path of your life, and those teachings shall show you how to experience that God is within your own being.   Both your joyous moments and your most anguished griefs are simply tools to assist you in understanding who and what you are.    There is nobody and no being out there who is going to judge you or punish you for anything.   You are the one who will asses your own behavior.   You will simply ask:  "Did I meet my expectation or do I need to do this again?"   If you lose your way, call upon me and I shall instantly be there for you and with you.   Actually, I never left you.  I Am the Spirit within you  (Luke 17:21  “Behold, the kingdom of God is within you.")   I will  answer your questions, but I won't walk your path of life for you.  You must do that for yourself.

And one other thing, no matter how desperate you think your life has become, you are never alone.  Beings who are invisible to your physical eyes walk with you along every step of Earth life.   There is nothing you can hide or hide from.   You cannot do evil without reaping evil.   You cannot do good without reaping good.   

If you follow my advice and my example, you can be as I am and you can do as I do and more.   Then the internal heavenly state of being will be yours also."
